Downloading video tests to Youtube has worked well, but can be a bit of a hassle. You can now send the video file of your test directly to me through email for evaluation by using a free service which handles large files. I have already used this method successfully, and it keeps you from having to upload to Youtube. Here are the instructions (it is easier than it sounds):
1 Put all the files in one folder on your computer. (If you only have one file, skip to step 3). Right click on folder, hover on "send to", then select "compressed(zipped)file".
2 Wait while it's zipping the file. Then you will see a folder with a zipper running across in the same location where the other folder was.
(as long as that zipped folder is not bigger than 300 MB you'll be able to send it to us. To check on size, either hover over the folder and a label should pop up with that info, or right click and select properties and it will give you the size).
3 Now go to
www.sendspace.com. You do not need to register.
Click on choose files and browse to where the file or zipped folder is on your computer
Click on the file or zipped folder, then click on open
4 Enter
jkdu@hotmail.com for "recipient's email", and your e-mail address.
5 check the "I have read and agreed to terms" box, then click on upload file
Wait.
Once the file is uploaded, I will receive an e-mail with a link to download it.
You should also get a copy of it in your inbox.
If the folder is ever bigger than 300 MB, follow the same process but then use
www.transferbigfiles.com which lets you send files up to 1GB each.
