I put something similar on a recent monthly video, but I thought I would let more people benefit from this move that I found. Feel free to pass this around or to post this on any other site/forum.

Nice one Burton...I remember asking you about this some time back as it used to give me a lot of trouble as you are technically escaping correctly.

For the guy doing the Darce/brabo I have found 'shimming' your body to collapse his shoulder against his carotid makes it a much more easier to get that blood choke vs just a crank. This some what ties in as you mentioned you are blocking him with your structure.

The other escape I remember you mentioned was once he traps that arm to reach back into your back pocket.

I had a problem escaping the anaconda recently. It was already wrapped up, and I kept attempting to pry the choking arm, while keeping an air pocket, while my opponent kept trying to cinch it.

I have yet to play/spar this technique, but it seems a viable defense. What is the forums thoughts and experience on this?
Is the hand in the back pocket a good defense for the anaconda as well?

On a related note a friend of mine is really good at the the guillotine, darce, anaconda combination. It seems to work really good for dealing with the opponents correct counters setting you up for the next choke.

this looks workable, but the follow thru on the escape needs to be worked...possibly the sit out

Not what I was looking for, but a hail mary counter to the n/s choke. I give it a cool factor of 9 if you can land it.
