My son, Jack, is 17 months old and learned how to throw a flick kick the other day.  I'm working on getting him to fake high to cover his footwork, but that might have to wait until he's 18 months old.  Very Happy

We've also started working on the BJJ for the Street and Battlefield Kali curriculums.

By the way, this is clearly an open invitation for other people to post pictures of their kids doing anything remotely martial-arts related (I particularly want to see Shelton's daughter choking somebody unconscious  Very Happy).

I would like to see Shelton's daughter choke HIM out.

Or, if I was in her corner, I would advise her, "Sweep the knee. Guaranteed win. Sweep the knee!"

Great photos Jim! How wonderful. I don't know if we have any martial arts looking photos yet, but I will post when some come up. Thanks again!

And I have a feeling Scott and Liz's girl is too!

I think I might have posted this one before, but here is Lino putting the plata on Sammy.

Much to Liz's chagrin, she will start practicing her bicycle kicks soon.

I'm curious on members strategies for implementing martial arts into their childrens life.

My son is 3.5yo and thinks he's Clint Eastwood already with his own one liners and his lever action. I have barely exposed him to anything, aside from toy swords, toy guns and Johnny Quest. Striking is not in the equation aside from what he's learned in pre school. Grappling is merely relegated to sitting on me and attempting to get him to post, as well as getting him to play on his beach ball as I do flow/pressure work on the swiss ball or dummy to music.

Roberts808 son is a natural menace Shocked and chases mines around with my sons toy drill and sticks. I had to explain to him its ok with 'Daddy' to hit someone back to make them stop.
