Note -
picking up strangers
reckless abandonment in attacking the driver of vehicle you're in
knife edge
weapon hand of both combatants
location of weapons and draws
type of attack - note no slashes
targetting

Some interesting topics of concern are
1. fighting in and around vehicles
2. fighting in and around confined spaces
3. the selection/location/deployment/use of weapons in confined areas
4. dominat vs inferior positions

Brutal even for a korean flick! Ask yourself, can I handle that kind of ferocity? Or will I freeze in the face of such an attack?

Stabber observations:
-first strike is a mortal blow although vic can fight till they bleed out.
-Did not get fixated on first vic, which may allow 2nd vic to make his kill shot.
-realistic "sewing needle" attack made with good accuracy and devastating violence.
-attacks were so quick and the knife was small enough that if there was no blood, an observer might not even realize that a stabbing is occuring. I know an officer who though he was being punched but later discovered that he had been stabbed multiple times in the abdomen.

Victim observations:
-if they give you obvious pre-attack cues (unlucky remark/bloody injuries/1000 mile stare) ACKNOWLEDGE AND ACT! in this situation, I would have slammed on the brakes (which would unseat/unbalance/disrupt stabber and possibly injure as head hits windshield) and got out to make distance.
-second vic did not get in any damaging shots to eyes or other vitals.
- both vics failed to use live hand to disrupt/interfere with attacks.
-both vics cannot make distance because enclosed space, but fail to go tight because of ferocity of attack, fear or both. They both stay at a range where the attacker has max leverage and manouverability.

Brutal. But that happens. This is why when we are training, we never stop our defense even if we get cut and stabbed repeatedly. Can't just go out.
Was this on the Disney channel?  Shocked

Cr8,

Great analysis. Thanks for sharing your "coply" experience.

Burton,

"Was this on the Disney channel?"

Great to begin the day with a laugh.
