Guro,

Many Congratulations once again for the amazing victory! Here's a nice Silat clip I recently found. The person seems to be very skillful/ technical and the flow smooth (might be as a result of a well-drilled choreography as well). Don't know how much it'd be effective actually on the street though. Since you are researching/ have researched/ experimented thoroughly for the upcoming Silat4TS program I thought it would be very interesting to know maybe some perspective from you- on the clip and in general on similar Silat ground combat techniques.

With deepest Respect

/WK

Thanks WK- on choreographed demonstrations like this, I always advise to watch the feeder, not the hero. Note that the feeders do one attack and freeze. If that is how the demo is, that is probably how they train. Good material trained without resistance leads to an ineffective fighter.
Thanks again.

Adding resistance allows us to know what to absorb and what to reject.  Wink
