Hello all,

It's been a long time since my last post, I'm from the Portuguese performance group (Hugo), just came back from Italy today with ( Luís Barneto and the Portuguese party Rui and Ricardo ) we had a seminar with guru Burton and Chris Lieben which was a fantastic learning experience and all around lots of fun.

As the tittle name refers there is something called the "slow movement" a philosophy about slowing down so we can live more productive and fulfilling lives.

And as a way of training i can refer the ground game example, slow down how you train to obtain full knowledge on a technique, make traingin slower when learning so you can accelerate when rolling for winning purposes by fully understanding what you're doing as you've done it way slower before and you can see it coming now.  the "driving through town at 200miles/hour vs 20miles/hour story".

For anyone interested in knowing more on the slow movement i recommend a book I read "in praise of slow" by Carl Honoré. it applies to all aspects in life.

Again thank you Burton and Chris we had a great time!

Thank you Hugo. It was great seeing you, and I was very happy that you have made a lot of improvement!
Thanks for the book suggestion. You mentioned it in Italy and it sounds very interesting.
For our training, to paraphrase Guro Dan Inosanto, if we go through a town at 100 miles per hour, you aren't going to see much. If you drive through at 30, you will see much more. Imagine how many details you will see if you walk through the town!

We must train fast sometimes to be ready for full speed encounters, but we learn much more when when we slow down and explore the territory.

Give my best to Luis, Rui, and Ricardo.
