We now have a section for the Performance Group Program. This is for people who are not yet instructors, but want to get a group together so that they can train with people and become certified instructors. You can click on the link on the homepage. If you have questions or suggestions, please let me know. Aloha!

This really is a great program. I look forward to many groups opening up world wide to help spread the realistic street approach to training. We already have great feedback from the first groups. Aloha!

I have six guys that I train and this sounds good to us. I know everyone has to be a JKDU member. But For the group leader does he pay 35.00 then 75.00/month or just 75.00/month.

Just the $75. The students should all chip in to cover that expense as well. Let me know if you have any other questions. Aloha!

Burton,
That was my plan exactly. So far I have 2 other training partners. I'd like to get 3 more and have them all chip in $15 a month to cover the dues. We are curious, what's the average length of the monthly training videos?

The training tape is at least 45 minutes in length. I almost always cover stand-up, clinch, and ground. We often show sparring clips, and also have guest instructors for part of the video. Last year we had Charuto Verissimo a few times, Baret Yoshida, Robert Follis (Team Quest coach), etc. It has worked out very well, as I can go and visit a group that I haven't seen in a year and they are always up to date with the latest developments. Aloha!
