TECHNIQUES
Demonstrate each technique one by one. Say the name of the technique (or have someone off camera read it out to you), and then demonstrate it ONCE with attention to detail.
- If you are on the student track (training only for your personal enjoyment and development), DO NOT explain the technique just demonstrate it.
- If you are on the instructor track, demonstrate all of the techniques ONCE as well, and pick ONE technique in each range to explain as you demonstrate the maneuver. Keep your explanation brief and do it only once.
PERFORMANCE GAMES
Play one round for each of the performance games for that level.
Each round is one minute, and you can take a one minute break between rounds if you need it. Again, do your best to apply this part of the curriculum, but don’t feel that you have to execute all the techniques in order to pass the test.
FOCUS MITTS ROUND
Add one 2-MINUTE ROUND OF FOCUS MITTS, incorporating as many stand-up, clinch, and ground techniques (offense and defense) from this part of the curriculum as you can. This is where we look at your power generation. The focus mitts round is for both student and instructor tracks.
You can mail us the test on DVD or e-mail the file to us. (how to section coming soon).
Do not post any test online without prior authorization.
