You may have noticed the new design and we hope you like it. This is what JKD Unlimited is about: constant improvement. We will continue to work on the site in the upcoming weeks, adding content and fine tuning elements. We welcome your suggestions and feedback. Please e-mail us about any broken links, issues or ideas you have. Help us make JKD Unlimited the best it's ever been so we can help more people all over the world have access to functional self defense.

Hi Mike,
I’m very sorry I didn’t see your comment on our blog until now. I thought I’d be notified when a comment comes in and that is not the case.
In answer to your question, we have a JKD Unlimited school in Cincinnati run by Sean Sutton:

The current Silat For The Street does NOT include any weaponry. It is an empty hands program.
Burton is hoping to release a karambit program one of these days.
The best way to be notified is to follow him on Facebook.
Thanks, Sarah Richardson
Do you have a list of certified instructors? I live in Ohio and would like to see if any of your instructors are within travel distance. Thank you for all the great videos and information you provide.
Hi, Sarah does the the “Silat for the Street,” include any training with different knives (Karambit, etc?).
Hi Chris, when I set up the site, I did what was most pressing because I was short on time. There is still a lot of finetuning required on the site and I will be doing it little by little. I did add the fighter’s test under the MMA FTS student test here: https://jkdunlimited.com/collections/video-tests/products/mma-for-the-street-student-tests?variant=31301966925
Thank you. Sarah
Hi Sarah, I noticed that under the MMA-FTS course there’s only testing for the QS levels Basic-Level 4, and Instructor. Did the Fighter-only testing get removed from the program?

Thank you Burton and Sarah and all involved. I have been doing JKD basics for a long time but I am always a beginner also. I am always willing to learn and grow and you have a lot to offer. I am always looking at your sales, and usually pick up some new video or book when I can. I know you probably get this question a lot but will the BJJ for the streets or the Silat for the streets become available again? I have the rest of your books already over the years. If they will be available again do you know when that might be? Burton I also like your philosophy on life and how you tie it to life, I can feel your heart. I Look forward to the continuing journey. Much peace to all…….William Russell
