• Silat For The Street has 8 student levels.
  You are eligible to take your Instructor Level 1 test after you've passed Student Level 4. You are eligible to take Instructor Level 2 test after you've passed Student Level 8.

• VIDEO TESTING

  Video testing is easy! First make sure that you and/or your students have been properly registered with JKD Unlimited and have a valid membership. Then video tape yourself or your student using any camera even your phone’s camera, and upload it to youtube

  YOUTUBE.COM UPLOAD:

  1: Upload the video to your youtube account. Youtube offers 3 options: public, unlisted, private. Make sure to select "UNLISTED". Do NOT ever make the video public on youtube as our testing procedure is copyrighted.

  Name the file like this: LastName_FirstName_Level ? Test_SilatFTS_month day year. For example, if Joe Smith is taking the test for Level 1 and sending us the test on January 1st, 2017, the file name would be: Smith_Joe_Level 1_SilatFTS_01-01-2017

  2: Pay for the test and include the link to the video when you checkout. Alternatively, you can e-mail us the link.

  After we review the test, you will receive a written evaluation with feedback via e-mail and a certificate in the mail.

A teaching license authorizes you to teach our Silat For The Street module.

A one year minimum commitment is required. Monthly dues via auto-pay or prepay one year, get one month free.

  You can start teaching immediately after passing your Level 1 test. You will be listed on our website as an official training group leader. All students studying our course with you will need to register with our organization and get their own yearly membership.($50/year)

  We are keeping the teaching license fee low, so anyone can afford it.With just one student on a one-year contract, paying $100/month, you will make a profit on your investment (even after buying all the DVDs and taking all the tests up to Instructor level)

To become an instructor in BJJ For The Street. You must:

• Be at least a Blue Belt in BJJ FTS
• Take an pass the instructor test
• Activate a teaching license and keep it current in order to retain instructorship.

  • Blue Belt Apprentice Instructor(after you get a blue belt)
